Job Description To perform any support / process duties associated with the continuous manufacture of Merial vaccines.
Dependent on the production requirements, a CPT will perform and coordinate with others the activities associated with the preparation of viral vaccine components.
Responsibilities
Production Processes:
Adheres to daily production schedule.
Performs hands-on processing according to Standard Operating Procedures.
Completes required documentation (MR's, DC's, batch tickets, etc) in an accurate, concurrent and timely manner.
Maintains facilities and equipment as required by Standard Operating Procedures.
Prepares laboratory, equipment and collects necessary supplies required to execute process.
Collects and submits in process samples to Quality Control using appropriate process and documentation.
Communicates facility and inventory related needs daily.
Submits work orders to repair/maintain equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance as required.
Monitors process against manufacturing records, data capture forms and Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintains data capture forms and manufacturing records in a timely and accurate fashion.
Monitors process kinetics to ensure consistent results.
Reports/provides information on process deviations.
People Management Process:
Ensures that training is received and adequate to carry out assigned operations.
Train others as assigned/needed.
Be a buddy" to new employees to facilitate their training.
Complete DSTS documentation.
Provide feedback at daily shift/performance meetings.
Communicate information to the Supervisor from the Team.
Help facilitate the scheduling of teammates to attend dept or site communication forums.
Observe, challenge, advise, and support teammates to adhere to policies and procedures.
Observe, measure, and assess individual and Team performance to communicate to the Supervisor.
Work in a manner which adheres to cleanroom, HSE, and biosafety practices.
Ensure all teammates adhere to good HSE practices.
Participate in individual and team HSE training.
Communicate to Supervisor any identified behavior that can lead to an unsafe workplace.

Learn/train in implementation of standards.
Ensure Team follows standards.
Inform Supervisor of improvement ideas.

Carry out problem resolution actions as prescribed by the Supervisor.
Provide feedback on the success or failure of corrective actions.
Track completion of tasks and paperwork (defines KPI's).

Informed of Team performance regarding adherence to standards.

Provide the Supervisor improvement suggestions.
Communicate to Supervisor when tasks appear wasteful or difficult to perform.

Help prepare action plans for improvement initiatives.
Informed of annual objectives for Team and Site.
Provide feedback on feasibility of proposed actions.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum of High School graduate or equivalent.
6-12 months of related experience.
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Biology or related field.
1 year of related experience.
