Description:Estimator - Commercial Print/Bindery Experience
Attention to detail, drive and positive attitude is required. And patience.. lots of patience needed when working with sales reps. Estimator will estimate labor and material costs of printing jobs and binding books, phamplets, periodicals, and other printed materials based on specifications outlined on sales order or submitted by prospective customer:
Examines specifications, sketches and sample layouts and calculates unit and production costs, using labor and material pricing schedules and considering factors such as size and number of sheets or pages, paper stock requirements, binding operations, halftones, number and units of color and quality of finished product.
Must have experience using PrintSmith. May work with Pre-Press department and production.
