JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC has a career opportunity located in Chamblee, GA. In this position you will be working on a contract for a large federal agency as a full time employee of SAIC. You will be responsible for developing solutions to critical software architecture problems and broad design issues. Works on software architecture problems that impact the design success of products or addresses broad design issues of future products or technologies. Evaluates recommended solutions to problems related to software systems architecture and makes final recommendations to customers. Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters to meet business requirements and hardware/software compatibility. Having knowledge and experience, able to handle seldom and unusual occurring job events. Ability to complete complex assignments. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and provide guidance to nonexempt personnel. Knowledge of assigned product(s), company functions, service policies and procedures and good communication skills. Proficiency in computer applications, languages, technologies, advanced set-up and configurations, troubleshooting, and system design, and/or capabilities required for the position.
The Software Design Engineer III should have ASP.NET, HTML, Javascript, XML, SQL Server 2005 development skills.
Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor''s degree in a related technical field and 5+ years related experience. In lieu of a degree an additional 4 years of relevant experience/education will be acceptable. Knowledge in project management typically required.
