Seeking a qualified HR Generalist who will apply and perform a general knowledge of human resources principles, practices and procedures covering a range of administrative duties for the Human Resource Department in a generalist capacity. Will be expected to provide administrative assistance in all functional areas that fall under the umbrella of the HR & Administrative Department.
* Input into HRIS systems and process employment changes and produce required reports.
* Maintain employee personnel files and related records, including filing.
* Prepare new hire folders and process related paperwork. Ensure that all new hire paperwork is complete and appropriate information is provided. May conduct new hire orientations.
* Assist in the administration of health and insurance benefits, to include special related projects or programs, such as open enrollment.
* Assist in the development and delivery of various training programs. Maintain related training records.
* Assist in the recruitment process: Posting job openings, scheduling interviews, posting opening on career site and on internal board, maintain applicant tracking and related recordkeeping and documentation.
* Serve as workers compensation administrator, managing current claims and case files. Prepare Cal OSHA reports and other associated recordkeeping.
* Maintain and coordinate labor collection either via paper or electronic time keeping. Help develop and conduct annual timekeeping training.
* Reconcile payroll related deductions and perform month end reconciliations.
* Assist the HR Manager in the implementation of company activities, employee functions and other welfare health/wellness related events.
* Maintain and update company bulletins, to include regulatory/compliance postings.
* Maintain Records Retention documentation.
* Serve as back-up Receptionist in the event the normal back-ups are unavailable.
* Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
* Must be a US Person or Permanent Resident.
Education:       Associate s degree (A.A.) from two-year College or equivalent; and 2 - 4 years related HR generalist experience required. Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university desired. Must be familiar with standard HR concepts, practices and procedures, as well as wage and hour law and related HR regulatory compliance requirements. Professional certification desired.
Computer skills: MS Office required. MS Outlook. PC, Word, Excel, HR database software, Applicant tracking software. PowerPoint.

Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Environmental, RF, Microwave and RADAR compliance testing. Tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies developmental and production electronics components, parts, equipment, and systems by performing the essential duties listed below.
* Must have working knowledge of RF/Microwave communication subsystems, filters, antennas and coax cables.
* Must be able to perform test activities that include field return and failure analysis from written instructions and drawings.

* Understanding of Environmental, Vibration, Shock and Acceleration testing to MIL Standards is a plus.

Meggitt Sensing Systems (MSS) is the Meggitt division specializing in sensing and monitoring systems. We measure physical parameters in the extreme environments of aircraft, space vehicles, power generators, nuclear, oil and gas installations and test labs. MSS is seeking a key Software Engineer to join our San Juan Capistrano, CA location (Orange County). This is a high-profile, growth opportunity, as Meggitt is creating a presence in Orange County, with 5 divisions in California alone. MSS will be combining our New Hampshire location with our site in San Juan Capistrano, (soon to be Irvine), and transitioning the manufacturing line to California over the next year.

Summary:

The Software Engineer will support product development in the area of data acquisition for aircraft. The Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) will gather aircraft inputs from various analog sensors including engine and flight surface, aircraft data busses, discrete inputs and other data. The DAU will process and validate all data. The data is then transmitted to various aircraft systems such as cockpit displays, flight or maintenance data recorders, FADEC or other systems.
Requires:

* 5+ years of real time embedded software development experience
* Experience integrating software on target processor using in-circuit emulators
* 5+ years writing C/C++
* 3+ years minimum experience developing software for aircraft applications
* Experience in full software life-cycle development including requirements, design, code, integration & verification
* Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to travel 50% / 2 weeks a month to New Hampshire for 6 months until knowledge transfer to CA complete
* Some travel to NH to facilitate knowledge transfer is required in the first six months.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Access)
* Bachelors Degree in engineering
Experience that is a plus:

* Experience with aircraft systems such as engine monitoring, flight controls or cockpit displays
