Relieves the Department Manager of routine matters, preserving the confidential nature of items of which he/she has knowledge. Multi-task position requiring excellent interpersonal, computer, organizational, and prioritizing skills. Assists Director with administrative functions in a confidential manner.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification: (1) Minimum 2 years experience in a setting as administrative secretary. (2) Minimum one year medical terminology (3) Computer and word processing skills required, spreadsheet skills preferred, PowerPoint preferred. (4) Will train qualified applicant with appropriate related experience.
Posses good oral and written communication skills. Is able to work effectively with multiple tasks in a team setting utilizing interpersonal, organizational and prioritizing skills. Technical functions evaluated by: review of documents, notes, charts, and computer entries; observation; feedback from staff, physicians, visitors and patients; ability to Gove and follow directions and adherence to policies and procedures.
