Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
The Agile Coach will have a transformational role in stewarding the entire program from waterfall, up-front design to agile and iterative design including agile backlog grooming, product management and technical requirement ingestion (architectural runways). The candidate's core responsibilities will include, but not to be limited to:

+ Effectively incorporate client insights into team direction by working with management and product owners to establish feature delivery based on business value and priority.

+ Facilitate positive change by providing advice and input on technical direction, tools and processes to help demonstrate the value of Agile Scrum and Kanban-based development.

+ Act as a collaborative partner and coach, participating in real-time to provide advice or assistance to teams and team members as they tackle and overcome difficult challenges.

+ Drive improvement through examples and practical experience, taught in a non-academic delivery style that encourages the adoption of Agile technical practices, improving execution, communication and concurrently building group skills and capabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in related field with 10+ years' experience in relevant field. An equivalent combination of education, certification, and relevant experience may be considered.

+ Certified by an agile body (i.e. Scrum Alliance,, ICAgile, SAFe or equivalent) as an enterprise, program or team coach, certified Agile Practitioner (PMI-APC), or Scaled Agile Program Consultant (SPC).

+ Experience launching Agile Release Trains (ARTs'), working in diverse environments (waterfall and agile), hybrid and transformation projects, preferably in a government setting.

+ Experience with automated configuration management/code management systems.

+ Must possess a strong technical background in information technology management.

+ Strong process knowledge of System Development Life Cycles.

+ Strong program and project management skills.

+ Ability to effectively work in a team environment.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent customer relationship skill sets.

+ U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates selected must be able to successfully pass a client background investigation.
