The Analyst will perform as an integral program team member to assist the Program Manager and Control Account Managers in the establishment of program integrated master schedules, control account plans, and resource requirements. The analyst will provide well researched/supported monthly financial reports in accordance with FAR clauses and company EV policy and procedures.
Responsibilities :
* Working with Control Account Managers, develop, update, and maintain cost and schedule performance metrics.
* Regular efforts include work package status, labor and cost reporting, course correction and variance analysis, manpower forecasting, and Estimate at Completion (EAC) development with project team.
* Maintaining program measurement control systems
* Prepare and analyze financial reports.
* Follows established procedures and works under general direction only.
* This position may be responsible for providing guidance to others.
* This position does not directly provide leadership or supervision to other employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Profitability analysis
* Financial risk assessment
* Ability to analyze and interpret program finance data
* PC proficiency required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
* Working knowledge of MicroFrame Program Manager (MPM) and wInsight a plus
* Earned Value Management experience a plus
* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
* Ability to work well with others
* Basic knowledge of General Accounting processes, procedures, and rules
* Must be a U.S. citizen
* Must be able to obtain/maintain a government security clearance
Education :
* Position typically calls for a Bachelor''s Degree in Finance or Accounting education and experience (typically 1-2 years) required to do the job. GPA 3.5 or better is required.
