Principal IV&V / Penetration Test Engineer

MTSI’s Mission Assurance Group is seeking highly motivated, qualified professionals as Principal IV&V/Penetration Testing Engineers for positions in the Washington D.C. area. Ideal candidates will have to provide examples of their demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced and dynamic environment for high impact, sensitive and mission-critical network security operations. Must demonstrated ability to develop and execute test plans for application systems/solutions built or acquired for use by U.S. government agencies.
The Principal IV&V/Penetration Testing Engineers will develop and execute test plans for application systems/solutions built or acquired for use by various U.S. government agencies and perform the following duties for project(s) while ensuring that quality assurance processes are adhered to.
Responsibilities include:
network penetration testing; wireless network testing; war-dialing; social-engineering; compliance measurement/reporting; application vulnerability assessment; technical reporting; incident response; intrusion analysis; malware analysis; reporting of intrusion methodologies; intelligence analysis; strong knowledge of SDLC, Toll/Quality Gates, Readiness Review, and Authority to Operate; and develop test cases, use case diagrams and test scenarios.
Job Requirements include:
strong oral and written communication skills; Program Management Body of Knowledge (Process, Tools, Templates, Inputs & Outputs – methodology and why it is done at stages); Enterprise Architecture (process, tools, inputs and outputs – methodology and why it is done at which stages); Risk Management (process, tools, measures, outputs and meanings); Earned Value (process, activities, why it is done and what it means for an individual’s productivity); and requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and six or more (6+) years of related experience with a minimum of two (2) years experience in one or more of the following: computer network penetration testing and techniques; computer evidence seizure or computer forensics.
Applicants must have an active TS/SCI security clearance or TS with eligibility to obtain SCI access. Applicants must be able to work in a team environment.
