MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is currently looking for Registered Nurses to join its Registry Pool. Various units and shifts available for experienced nurses. Qualified nurses will have a current Maryland or Compact State Nursing License and CPR. Must be ACLS to work in critical care areas. A minimum of 2 years full-time experience in Med/Surg within the last 5 years or minimum of 3 years full-time experience in Critical Care within the last 5 years is required. Candidates will be required to float between a minimum of 2 units. Where you work is based on your previous experience and competency, (either the critical care team, telemetry team or med/surg team). Competitive compensation available for this "in-house agency" option!
Scheduling requirements include the following:
* Must work a minimum of two 12-hour weekend shifts per month. (They do not need to be back to back. You can work this Saturday and wait two or three weeks and work another Saturday or Sunday to meet this commitment)
* Must work one Summer/Fall holiday (e.g., Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day or Thanksgiving
* Must work one Winter holiday(Christmas or New Year's Day Shift)
* Must work one hard to fill holiday (e.g., Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Superbowl Sunday, Halloween, First Day of School, etc.)
