Description of Position:
Team player and coder/tester with Java as primary language who would like to focus on test automation (for JMS message processing, web application, restful web services, OSGI, database etc.) and testing for a secure and scalable distributed, high-speed message processing and decision logic application in Java. Help develop and administer an end- to-end test environment for integration and system testing. Focus on automated testing and interaction with external I&T teams to ensure maximum operational uptime and reliability. Work with team to evolve team test processes and best practices. Technically current with proven ability to keep current.
Required Skills & Experience:
Technologies: Java, Spring Framework (dependency injection, AOP, JMS, Testing),
Hibernate, JPA, Oracle database, JMS (Tibco, ActiveMQ), JUnit, EasyMock, Ant,
XML/XSD, OSGi, Restful web services, Apache JMeter.
Tools: Eclipse, Emma, Continuous Integration Server (e.g. Hudson or CruiseControl), Subversion, Tomcat, VMWare, FIT (or similar integration testing framework).
Desired Skills & Experience:
Knowledge of RPM spec files. Knowledge of security best practices and security testing.
Security: Candidates must have TS/SCI clearance with full scope poly.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree and meets the experience requirements; or equivalent documented combination of training and experience.
