Systems Administrator

*Description:*
This Systems Administrator position is a highly customer focused environment to provide system administration and proactive support of the Internal Revenue Service Enterprise Systems Testing environment.
The candidate will perform specific duties as an on-site Support Technician through a flexible tiered team approach in support of the developed applications, hardware and software. The candidate will work as a seasoned technician providing on-site technical support leading to issue resolution for all hardware and software applications installed on the servers and peripheral devices in the Test environment. The candidate will utilize Active Directory, Windows Server 2008R2, Windows 7 and Windows 10, Microsoft SCCM, SQL Server, HP-UX, and Informix DB.
Additional responsibilities will include troubleshooting and working with other technical functional groups for all supported technical issues. This includes answering operational questions, assisting with defect analysis, basic knowledge transfer, installation of emergency software updates, delivering documentation, providing installation support for new releases and serving as the Leidos liaison to the test environment end-users.
*Qualifications:*
Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience and 2 or more years of prior relevant experience.
Candidate must have excellent customer service skills, a team player, adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and willing to go the extra mile in a fast pace environment to service the customer with a positive attitude.
