Job Description Entry-level Flight Test Instrumentation Operations Engineer (IOE) for F-35 aircraft. The successful applicant will function as the IOE at Edwards Air Force Base AFB), CA, supporting daily flight-test operations by assuring a test-ready aircraft instrumentation system. The selected individual will become versed in developing requirements, schedules, resolving equipment and sensors selection problems and detailed system design of the instrumentation data acquisition system. This individual will learn to develop system software/programming for proper operation and data collection. They will provide any required laboratory support to resolve flight test aircraft instrumentation data acquisition anomalies. The selected applicant must be capable of interacting with flight test (conductor) engineers and other test engineering disciplines involved in scheduling, testing and troubleshooting during developmental aircraft flight testing. This positron will ultimately require the individual selected to be capable of working independently across engineering, maintenance, and logistics functional teams, and communicate attest aircraft instrumentation issues and status across these teams.
