The Corporate Marketing Financial Planning & Analysis Department has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst. This position will be located in Walnut Creek, CA.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
. Quickly develop an understanding of company and group objectives to effectively play a key role in business analysis.
. Regularly complete ad-hoc analyses and work to improve analysis and business metrics for your customers.
. Provide financial and promotional analysis to evaluate effectiveness of advertising promotions and programs.
. Run weekly/monthly reports for business partners to help with monthly close.
. Any adhoc analysis/reports that may be necessary.
Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and Economics and/or equivalent experience is required. An MBA is a plus.
. 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis. Experience in a CPG or Fortune 500 company a plus.
. Advanced PC skills in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word). Experience with Hyperion Essbase a strong plus.
. Strong verbal, analytical and written communication skills.
. Can present complex issues in a simple, logical, and brief manner.
. Comfortable with large amounts of data and able to identify key trends and variances and summarize.
. Ability to work with various systems and data sources to gather and assimilate required information.
. Strong organizational skills. Able to multi-task. Brings a strong sense of customer service"; a strong responsiveness ethic and a sense of urgency.
