As our home-based Technical Sales Engineer, preferably in the San Jose or Bay area, you will lead technical discovery and qualification meetings by providing pre-sales support for potential clients investigating our solution. This position will require a home office and travel up to 50% of the time throughout North America. Gain high visibility by bringing your technical talent to the forefront of our sales team as you take responsibility for supporting our sales process through product demonstrations, webinars, evaluations, installations and proposals. Your documented expertise in data center design or management, network management, or network management software solutions will all be on display as you pull together top-notch solutions to meet our prospective customers most pressing needs. In this cross-functional role, your ability to manage multiple internal and external relationships simultaneously will be essential as you work with internal account teams to participate in customer network planning, training and updates through the active process of building, pitching and selling a solution.
