Summary:
The Technician - Trauma performs trauma support patient care activities in the Emergency Department under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities:
* Assists with procedures ordered by a physician and/or a Registered Nurse (RN) under scope of Board of Nursing and department rules and regulations.
* Responds to Code Blue and trauma resuscitation calls within the department.
* Performs clerical duties as assigned.
* Provides training support to other staff members under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Education & Experience:
* High School or equivalent required
* Previous patient care experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
Basic Life Support required.
