Must be capable of optimizing equipment sizes and prepare specifications for low, medium and high-voltage switchgear, switches, transformers, MCCs, wires and cables, conduits and cable trays.
Familiarity with electrical design software and national electrical codes and standards is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey thoughts clearly and concisely.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Incumbent Responsibilities:
. Under the guidance of a senior engineer;
. Organizes and conducts power related electrical engineering and design
. Conducts field investigations and prepares accurate site visit notes
. Performs all necessary calculations leading to a quality product
. Represents URS in meetings with the clients, contractors, and vendors
. Guides junior engineers and designers in detail design and checking of the project
