Job Description :
Position Summary:
Position will manage a technical support team responsible for providing technical information and materials to support customers (both internal and external) This includes responding to customer calls and inquiries in a timely fashion regarding product installation, performance issues and assistance on competitive interchanges.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
This position reports directly to either the Market Manager or Division Marketing Manager. This position interacts with Customers, Distributors, Outside Sales personnel and Division personnel as well as supervises division technical support personnel.
Essential Functions:
Perform supervisory functions for personnel in the department which include develop and track subordinate performance reviews.
Maintain high level of technical support across all applicable product lines.
Support the lean enterprise initiative by overseeing 5S, LDMS meetings and continuous improvement
Provide technical support for product managers and inside sales personnel as required from outside sales personnel, distribution personnel and customers.
Provide customer feedback to product managers on product performance in the field and monitor quality trends which require further attention.
Provide support and suggestions in regard to future product development and improvements, catalog content and layout along with other customer service materials.

Job Requirements :
Qualifications:-Technical Associates degree, BS preferred.
-Direct customer contact experience required.
-Leadership skills with a commitment to be an advocate for the customer regarding product quality and support.
-Technical knowledge of products to be supported.
