Job Summary

The Government Systems Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Solutions Engineering organization is seeking a talented leader for our newly formed cross-functional PNT ASIC Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) team.

Engineering Managers must have a passion for engineering and the desire to lead an innovative, dedicated team of 10-20 engineers responsible for designing, developing, and testing industry-leading PNT ASICs. The ideal candidate for this role embodies the Rockwell Collins Vision Roadmap, has the courage to take prudent risks, the grit to persevere through difficult challenges, and the foresight and wisdom to lead positive change throughout the organization.

PNT Solutions keep the warfighter safe, connected and informed by providing position, navigation and timing information in contested environments. This candidate will lead the PNT ASIC SEIT team in solving complex problems and creatively designing advanced navigation ASICs.

This team's specific responsibilities include:

+ Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leadership for ASIC device development

+ Developing and Maintaining ASIC Architectures, Roadmaps, and Requirements

+ Coordination of and collaboration with multiple teams, including subject matter expert and domain teams

+ Customer Interface for ASIC Development

+ ASIC Foundry Interface

+ ASIC device checkout, integration, verification, and validation

+ Prototype and reference board design

Job Responsibilities

While leading this team, the successful candidate will have responsibilities spanning all phases of the engineering life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, verification, certification (DO-254) and factory/foundry transition.

Leadership responsibilities include resource planning and allocation, personnel acquisition and development, performance reviews, salary planning, process compliance, bid and proposal development, and collaborating with other organizations to deliver products to the U.S. DoD and its allies. The successful leader must demonstrate innovation, good decision making skills, communication skills, networking skills, and the ability to accurately forecast project work scope, cost and schedule.

Basic Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:

? Building trust with customers, program management, and product line management to achieve program and business objectives in a dynamic and growing business environment

? Preparation and presentation of technical information detailing innovative solutions and value propositions

+ Ensuring team success in the presence of non-recurring cost/schedule and recurring cost constraints

+ Presenting challenges, stimulating participation, and promoting a results oriented environment as this position involves working with a diverse team of experienced professionals, customers, and vendors

+ Parametric estimating, bidding and providing technical leadership to pursuit teams

+ Leadership of complex systems or ASIC development from requirements through verification

+ Independently leading and supporting technical meetings with customers, teammates, and leadership

+ Demonstration of systems thinking in the context of both the technology and the organization
