Assistant Marketing Manager


REPORTS TO: Marketing Director

Position Summary:
This position requires a highly analytical and results-driven individual who will play a critical role in building brand recognition and consumer adoption of RRS equipment. You will assist in brand management and consumer/customer insight collection. You will also help develop and execute a clearly defined consumer acquisition strategy to grow sales and build a loyal user base. Must be self-motivated, resourceful, creative, consumer focused, team oriented, and work independently to meet deadlines. Must also have a proven track record of running successful marketing campaigns across various media platforms.

  • Optimizes branding strategies and campaigns
  • Creates / improves existing and new product listings on website
  • Optimizes our Champion (ambassador) program and is primary contact with Champions
  • Develops informational customer touch-points including blogs, email campaigns, etc.
  • Tests new marketing channels and continuously optimize ROI across our campaigns
  • Coordinates with marketing team to project a uniform brand image
  • Applies research and analytics to leverage insights and creative approach
  • Interfaces with design firm to progress marketing campaigns

    Basic Qualifications:
  • BS degree with a marketing background required
  • 2-3 years of online marketing and brand management experience
  • Proven ability maximizing SEO, testing (such as A/B and multivariate) and incorporating customer insights into successful marketing strategies
  • Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication and presentation skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly analytical with comfort rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Basic HTML and familiarity with the Adobe Suite required
  • Self-motivated, nimble and highly results-driven in fast-paced environment
