To provide first line supervision to ensure individual sales representatives achieve assigned sales objectives and budgets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Contribute to the Company vision of being the industry leader in customer service through quality, commitment, courtesy and teamwork
Implements and ensures compliance with advertising sales objectives.
Monitors the sales representatives in all areas of their daily assignments.
Recruits, trains, motivates and develops a team of sales representatives into a cohesive unit to increase productivity and exceed minimum sales requirements.
Ensures sales representatives have a clear understanding of the marketplace including demographic profiles, competitive media, strategies, and territorial growth potential.
Conducts performance reviews and takes disciplinary action in conjunction with the General Sales Manager.
Creates and reviews quarterly and annual sales goals for Account Executives.
Demonstrates and ensures compliance with all sales training programs.
Assists the General Sales Manager or General Manager in the development of budgets.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
A. Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to reach with hands and arms, to bend, to talk and hear, and to read and use a computer
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional and pleasant manner
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
Ability to use, handle, and manipulate objects such as paper, pencils, keyboards, and mouse
Ability to work independently
Knowledge and ability to use the following office equipment: computer, telephone, copier, fax, calculator, and stapler
Knowledge of cable television products and services
Travel as required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to motivate others and work under pressure
Ability to keep abreast of competitive conditions
Vision ability: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
B. Education (level and type)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent experience.

Media sales experience 5
Team Leader or supervisory experience 1-2
D. Certifications and/or Licenses
Must have a valid driver's license in good standing.
Travel as required
Exposure to moderate noise levels
