This position generally oversees hiring, maintaining general associate relations, and scheduling of associates to cover operating hours. Responsibilities * Ensures daily work orders are set up and ran and Safelite Group vehicles are loaded, checked and on the road in a timely manner * Maintains all aspects of inventory. May process returns, order SGC and dealer parts, and investigate and resolve inventory related problems * Implements and enforces company policies and procedures * Assists the General Manager in staffing a retail store in accordance with applicable employment law * Motivates and directs the activities of associates to ensure the highest possible productivity is achieved and that World Class customer services is provided to all customers and associates. Deals with associate related problems by investigating situations and taking proper action such as counseling associates or issuing verbal and written warnings * Manages daily scheduling, assignment of work orders, and routing of mobile jobs for peak efficiency and customer service * Ensures key associates are appropriately cross trained in day-to-day operations * Trains Technicians, Mobile Pro's and, Repair Medics on installation techniques and procedures as well as the Glass Technology System (GTS) * Monitors productivity to ensure time and quality standards are met * Ensures associates are familiar with accident procedures and all other polices * Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA and other federal, state, and local regulatory agencies * Maintains facility and equipment in good working order.
