What we need (in addition to all that stuff above):
We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor. A Minimum of 2 years of experience is required. A strong problem solving and organization skill set with an emphasis on customer service is a MUST! Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

•Process FHA, VA, USDA and Conventional loans for assigned Loan Officer(s) within timeframes.
•Obtain order-out items.
•Assist in clearing UW conditions and meeting doc draw and funding and lock dates
•Sends out condition letters to borrowers promptly
•Assist with daily problem-solving and trouble-shooting.
•Keep current on FHA/VA/ USDA and Conventional changes
•Maintains weekly unit meeting with assigned loan officers
•Assist assigned Loan Officers to grow their business
•Provide back-up processing as necessary.

Standards of Performance:

•Process for assigned Loan Officers.
•Order title, appraisal, flood and set up escrow.
•Order credit report updates and mortgage insurance when needed.
•Order insurance binder on all files.
•Completes timely e-marketing.
•Issue condition letters and assist and timely receipt of outstanding borrower conditions.
•Assist Loan Officers with processing issues.
•Communicate changes in file status to underwriter.
•Submit files for loan closing documents within timeframes.
•Keep current on FHA/VA/USDA and conventional guidelines/updates provided.
•Tracks receipt of order out items within timeframes.
•Meet with assigned Loan Officer(s) on a weekly basis.
•Assists loan officers in meeting month end goal.
•Assists loan officers to grow their business.
•Back-up other processors when possible.

Specific Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities Required for Position:

•Good character, motivated, hard working.
•Ability to work well with fellow associates, clients and vendors.
•Good communication skills. Neat, clean, healthy work habits.
•High School Graduate or equivalent
•Be proactive communicator/problem solver
•2 or more years of experience in mortgage processing or mortgage business in similar area
•Very detailed from start to finish of file involvement that leads to successfully insured loans purchased by our investors. Minimal error/default ratio.
•Support/Team attitude with Manager and all associates
•Written procedures for position are kept up-to-date.
•Has effectively cross-trained at least one other associate to fill in during absences.
•Provides the same high level of customer service to internal customers (example: coworkers) as to external customers (example: borrowers).
•Must pass in-house Mortgage test with 70% or better

Physical Requirements:

•Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy environment.
•Must be able to walk/ sit for at least 8 hours or more (Majority of shift is spent sitting).
•Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more.
•Requires all forms of dexterity and mobility throughout the shift.
•Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, sit climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
