Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of **AMBU - Environmental Supervisor** located in **Moon Township, PA** through **June 13, 2018** at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).


The Environmental Team Leader and Environmental Stewardship (ES) Advisor resides in Moon Township, PA and ensures Appalachian Mountain Business Unit (AMBU) successfully sustains Environmental Operational Excellence (OE) Processes (ES, Air, Property Transfer, Third Party Waste Management, etc.) and progresses continual improvement plans.

**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:**

+ This position is accountable to confirm effective execution of process requirements and associated safeguards.

+ This position is responsible for identifying and closing gaps/actions associated with the AMBU environmental aspects relating to facilities and business organization.

+ As the ES Process Advisor, he/she will be expected to maintain technical competency, engage with functional experts and consult with AMBU general managers (GMs) and health, environment and safety (HES) functional managers on ES matters and have working knowledge of local, state and federal environmental regulations.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ HES Technical Degree or equivalent

+ Candidate must have at least 10 years of demonstrated environmental experience.

+ Travel: Position requires 20% travel (local field offices as needed).

+ Job requires driving on a routine basis

+ Demonstrates thorough experience and subject matter expertise the ability to execute sustain and continually improve environmental policies, procedures, standards and execution practices in AMBU.

+ Coordinates and/or leads Environmental Stewardship processes and ensures they are current

+ Confirms that the process requirements have been integrated into practical work instructions, training procedures and tools.

+ Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills in diverse settings

+ Ability to comfortably and skillfully communicate with Chevron and Contractor Senior Leadership and multiple functional office and field teams

+ Ability to simplify complicated information so that it is easily understood

+ Ability to present, train and/or facilitate AMBU workforce meetings.

+ Demonstrates ability to work and communicate collaboratively with external agencies, regulators, stakeholders, and industry associations.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience: Drilling, completions and gas [frac] operations experience is favorable.

+ Experienced in managing teams and projects; demonstrates skills in leading and working with others to identify options for meeting program goals.

+ Responsible for personnel administration (performance ranking and salary administration, employee development, promotion/transfer/discipline) and effectively managing a diverse workforce

+ Active member of AMBU HES personnel development committee.

+ Demonstrated ability to organize and facilitate meetings with multiple office and field work groups.

+ Ability to develop and deliver effective Environmental Stewardship training programs

+ Ability to mentor new-to-Chevron and Horizons (recent university graduates) members.

**Relocation Options:**

Relocation **will not be** considered within Chevron parameters.

Travel will be required, approximately 20%

Expatriate assignments **will not be** considered.
