Camp Supervisor

It's all about providing members with a positive experience and the tools they need to accomplish their goals.



We are currently seeking a Camp Supervisor to join our team! As our new Camp Supervisor you will:



+ Supervise camp programs for ten weeks of the summer.


+ Recruit, hire, and train Camp Counselors.


+ Supervise counselors and the daily operations of camp.


+ Create a fun, inspiring and safe play space.


+ Resolve counselor and/or member issues using effective customer service and leadership skills.


+ Assist in emergency response training and ensure that all counselors follow the correct protocol.


+ Create curriculum for camp session and schedule work hours.


+ Conduct regular team meetings with counselors.


+ Monitor and prepare payroll.


+ Communicate regularly and timely with Operations Manager.




Required Qualifications:



+ Minimum of 2 years working as a camp counselor or in another camp role


+ Minimum of 3 years working with children or babysitting

+ Other Preferred Qualifications:



+ Ability to manage time efficiently, maintain organized thought patterns and an overall sense of good judgment, planning and direction.


+ Previous experience in a leadership role


+ Maintain CPR/AED and First-Aid for adults, children, and infants.


+ Previous experience working with children.


+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)






Physical Requirements:





Candidates applying for this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout the workday. Also, the physical requirements of this job require frequent walking around and demonstrating and assisting with exercise movements; bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling and squatting are movements performed daily.
