Job Details: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
Licensed as LPN in Virginia or Compact State
Education:Graduate from an accredited nursing school. Must have a VA license.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a patient care setting preferred. A LPN with knowledge of basic cardiac arrhythmia's, cardiac disease progression and 12 lead EKG's interpretation. Prior cardiovascular experience helpful but not mandatory.
Certification: BLS and ACLS required. CCT preferred with in 2 years of hire.
Reports to: Assistant Rehab Director/Rehab Director.
Supervises: Department volunteers and students.
Description Summary: This position is responsible for the daily oversight of the GXT Lab, the ambulatory monitoring lab and the Pacemaker Clinic. This employee will assist with performing EKG's, providing Phase I Cardiac Rehab services and providing help in the cardiac diagnostic office.
