Description: Belcan has immediate openings for welders in Chattanooga, TN. Qualified candidates must pass an on-site weld test. A criminal background check and drug test are also required. Pay starts at $12 / hour; the hours for this position will be on first shift from 7am - 5:30pm Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of working some overtime on Fridays. Eventually, the positions will move to second shift, working 4:30pm to 3:00am, Monday through Thursday, with some Fridays.
Weld test requires a horizontal and vertical weld on 0.25 inch steel. Candidates will perform the test with a Mig welder and must have experience using flux-cored wire. Need to be able to weld up hill.
