Generate new business opportunities through outside sales activities focused on the selling of WINDSTREAM Managed Services- inclusive of equipment, services, and advanced applications. Focus is on driving profitable revenue into opportunities that meet or exceed established monthly quota.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
>Develops strategic sales strategy designed to drive business through assigned enterprise markets and large multi-site prospects. Utilize key strategic partnerships to provide market and account penetration. Develops and implements effective business plans focused on new business opportunities, using a consultative strategy to effectively communicate WINDSTREAM Managed Services' value proposition to prospective customers. This includes identifying market opportunities and target companies, determining overall revenue opportunities in the market, and to create an overall go-to-market strategy.
>Develops and executes daily activity model to build a sales funnel to include ongoing cold calling, prospecting, telemarketing, territory planning and relationship building strategies designed to meet or exceed monthly quota.
>Develops and maintains positive relationships with prospects and internal resources. Understands the dynamics of prospective organizations to align appropriately with key decision makers and decision influencers to determine needs, identify opportunities, and determine the overall opportunity for the customer to effectively present the most appropriate solution. Develops a sound presentation and closing strategy that will win business.
>Ability and willingness to team with other Account Executives or Inside Sales Representatives to develop implement and manage actions to cross-sell and up-sell services to existing customers with objective of earning additional business.
>Creates a disciplined approach to monthly forecasting requirements based on forecasting criteria. Manage and maintain all customers prospecting and forecasting information using sales online tools. Provides continual updates to ensure most accurate information available.
>Continually enhance product and service knowledge by keeping current on WINDSTREAM Managed Services' products and services and understand how they apply to prospective opportunities. Takes action to drive personal skill development as well as to gain and grow industry knowledge and manufacturer technical competencies.
>Will be expected to mentor and team with other Account Executives.
