WATER PRACTICE
Michael Baker International's Water Group provides innovative consulting, planning and engineering solutions for the entire spectrum of the water cycle. We have proven experience in providing a full range of professional services from scientific and technical analysis, concept through design, and construction support services. Protection and management of water resources starts at the watershed level and follows the movement of water through urban and agricultural areas, streams, lakes and reservoirs, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants.

DESCRIPTION
The Project Manager - Water/Wastewater will support local and regional clients and projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for the day to day management and delivery of existing projects; and for the development of business with Water and Wastewater customers in the Chicago and Illinois markets.

Technical and administrative management of deliverables, scopes of work, schedules, staffing, subcontractor management, and budgets
Client interaction
Quality control and quality assurance
Business development, contract and scope negotiations, staff supervision, and construction support services

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
Minimum of 10 years of related experience or familiarity with master planning, design, and project management for water resources (including water/wastewater, stormwater quality, and surface drainage) engineering with increasing levels of job responsibilities and client interactions
Illinois P.E. license or ability to obtain one
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project financial reporting, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
Experience with hydraulic modeling, infrastructure planning and design, construction support, pipeline and pumping station engineering is preferred
Expertise with stormwater management/water quality and drainage is a plus
