This is a 8 month temporary position at 40 hours per week.

2. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BA / BS in scientific area Microbiology, Biochemistry or Biological Sciences, Microbiology preferred or extensive experience in Microbiology. Must have knowledge of biological indicators, sterilization validation, and/or sterile products. Must have worked in FDA regulated industry and be familiar with ISO and USP requirements. 5+ years experience in FDA related industry with BS 3+ years experience in FDA related industry with MS 0+ years experience in FDA related industry with PhD
3. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under minimal supervision establishes and maintains quality assurance programs, procedures and controls ensuring that the performance and the quality of products conforms to the established company standards, QSR and ISO directives. He/She will use the principles and theories of science and mathematics to solve Quality Lab problems. Investigate lab testing anomalies and implements corrective action. Assists with determination of root cause of non-conformances and recommends corrective actions. Audit documentation and test methods for compliance. Assist in projects including the validation of test methods and qualification of lab instrumentation.
Job duties will include but not limited to: Write protocols and reports for methods validation. Write protocols and reports for installation Qualification, Operations Qualification and Performance Qualification of analytical instruments. Write protocol and reports for stability testing. Write SOPs for test procedures. Review documents for completeness, correct calculations, and good documentation practice. Review testing documentation for release of raw materials and finished goods. Review instrument calibration and maintenance documents to insure they meet standards and range of use. Provide input to protocol and test reports regarding biological indicators. Develop solutions to problems that range from moderate to complex
This position will: Maintain and monitor good housekeeping practices, employee hygiene and equipment sanitation Review reports for significant trends and out of specification. Require in depth knowledge of the principles, theories and concepts in analytical chemistry Develop solutions to complex problems
