**About the Role:**
The Airvo(TM) Sales Specialist is responsible for growing market demand for (my)Airvo(TM) products and meeting/exceeding assigned sales targets. Building relationships with key call points including Pulmonary Physicians, Hospitalists, Discharge Planners, Hospital Floor RTs and Nurses, RT Department Managers, DME managers and other related personnel. The Airvo(TM) Sales Specialist works in partnership with both the Homecare and RAC sales teams to sell into the homecare and hospital markets by developing pathways that lead to successful sales outcomes, ongoing implementation of effective strategies and techniques, customer education, marketing presentations, market development and territory management. Self-motivation, commitment and planning skills are vital in this role.
**About You:**
**The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following experience and educational background:**
* Achieve sales objectives and other initiatives as set by sales manager
* Present and sell company products to current and prospective customers
* Complete marketing presentations to customers on large and small scale
* Understand and implement corporate sales and marketing strategy
* Develop and maintain knowledge of products and sales strategy, competitors and market trends
* Ability to schedule appointments with relevant customers in support of sales activities
* Establish new and maintain existing customer relationships, with RT's, Nurses, Physicians
* Effective territory management, to ensure thorough coverage of assigned territory in a systematic fashion
* Maintains database of customer information and sales activities
* Resolve customer inquiries and concerns through professional discussion, negotiation and conflict resolution
* Attend and participate in marketing events such as trade shows and meetings
* Follow up on referrals, leads and complaints as appropriate
* Maintain professionalism, tact and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner
* Establish and maintain regular professional communications with customers, management and distribution partners
* Meet expectations for reporting requirements, expense management and project timelines
* Coordinate, plan and communicate field travel with sales management, marketing and other guest in representative sales territory.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics code of conduct
** ****Education or Equivalent:**
* Undergraduate degree required.
* Minimum 3 years sales experience essential, preferably in related medical field.
** Knowledge/Skills Requirements:**
* Excellent verbal, written and computer skills
* Ability to communicate with different levels of health professionals
* Self-motivated, independent work ethic
* Personable and professionally presented
* Highly organized and skilled in time management and planning
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
* Able to confidently and effectively deliver sales and marketing presentations
* Able to persuade and convince others
**Business Environment:**
* Primary work environment is field locations hospital, DME market) and onsite customer visits.
* The position will require travel of up to 50% throughout the assigned territory.
**Candidates will be required to currently reside in the greater Chicago, Indianapolis, or Columbus area.**
