JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for utilizing best practices to increase planning and execution efficiency and to deliver services that fully meet the Cleveland Clinic''s requirements at the lowest lifecycle cost.
Job Responsibilities: Functions as manager for contractor executed Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) services. Responsible for oversight of Facility Support Construction Contracts (FSCC), which are used for contractor executed specific repairs or restoration of assets and equipment to preserve facilities in a usable or operable condition. Typical examples include pump replacement, air house door replacement and flood clean up. Responsible for oversight of Facilities Support Service Contracts (FSSC), which provide for the maintenance or operation of real property assets by contractor execution. Typical examples include filter maintenance, testing and balancing services, and infrared thermography. Provides day-to-day quality assurance and oversight of all service contracts using various sampling methods of the contractor''s performance, conducting interviews with Cleveland Clinic supported tenants, and acting as the subject matter expert for all service contract requirements. Maintains current and accurate specifications including adding, updating, or deleting contract requirements for equipment, facilities or areas that come on or offline or due to budget constraints or inventory changes. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering or Technical field required.
Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred.
Required Experience: Requires 5 years experience in hospital Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) design, operations or management. Contract oversight experience preferred.
