Psychiatric Pharmacist
Bryan Medical Center provides comprehensive mental health services, both inpatient and outpatient. Inpatient services include Senior Mental Health, Adult Psych, Affective Disorders, as well as Child and Adolsecent Psychiatry. Outpatient programs include alcohol and chemical addiction treatment programs. Responsibilities will include coordination of student specialty rotations in psychiatry. Other duties include planning and coordinating psychiatric medication management in the patient population to promote evidence based pharmacotherapy with emphasis on quality, patient safety, clinical outcomes, and pharmoeconomic optimization.
Requirements: Entry-level degree (B.S., Pharm.D.) from an accredited college of pharmacy required. Completion of a hospital pharmacy residency accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists preferred. Previous pharmacy practice in Mental Health preferred. Pharmacist licensure in the State of Nebraska required.
