Structural Designer for MOX Fuel Fabrication Facility. Responsible for performing the more complex designs of Category I steel and concrete structures, concrete anchorage of equipment and components with general management and supervisory direction. Develop and check drawings and specifications, technical reports, and documentation of results. Understand and apply QA procedures relating to project planning, specifications and software. Immediate tasks will include field construction support as it relates to the design of embedments for concrete anchorage of equipment, structures, and components per requirements of ACI-349-01 Appendix B. Other tasks include the design of steel structures and components, cranes & monorails, platforms, and support of construction and procurement activities.
