Airgas, Inc. SUMMARY
The overall responsibilities for this position are to apply technical expertise and manage investment projects to improve plant efficiencies at its North American liquid CO2 and dry ice facilities.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
* 5+ years project experience working in a chemical or industrial facility
* Familiarity with mechanical and P&ID drawings
* Strong background in ammonia refrigeration systems, piping, and pump systems
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCad software packages
* Liquid CO2 production plant experience a plus, but not required
* Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
* Ability to manage several project simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment
* Effective verbal and written skills
* Travel required
