Management - Project Manager, Pumps #45118
Location: Decorah, IA
Description: This position is with a heavy equipment / construction company and will be responsible for all aspects of project management. Duties include:
. General management oversight of pumps and plumbing field operations to ensure effective and efficient use of resources;
. Project estimates and preparing time and cost estimates;
. Working with engineers and planners on projects to ensure specifications are clearly understood;
. Making sales contacts for potential future projects;
. Conducting meetings with necessary parties on favorable bids;
. Providing general management oversight during the construction process, establishing a system for tracking expenses, monitoring the invoicing process, and ensuring records are safely stored;
. Developing an annual budget.
Experience: . 5+ years of management and supervisory experience in a heavy equipment/construction company;
. Hands-on experience working with pumps, plumbing, septic, electrical;
. Experience working with commercial facilities, bidding projects, sales, engineering, reviewing specifications, job costing;
. Safety, training, planning, scheduling and general management.
