Client Staff Assistant, Public Affairs Burson-Marsteller's Dallas office seeks a dependable entry level client executive to work to work for its Public Affairs practice. Daily responsibilities include: preparing and issuing news releases, creating and maintaining media lists, monitoring news coverage, coordinating promotional events, and assisting in overall account administration. This position provides a terrific opportunity to get in on the ground level and learn the skills to launch a successful PR career. We offer great benefits, competitive package and collegial work environment! Requirements The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Communications, Public Relations and/or Public Affairs. A Bachelor's Degree is required, as well as 0-1 year of Communications or Public Affairs related experience and/or internships. Individuals must possess excellent communications and organizational skills, pleasant phone manner, strong editing and proofing skills, and the ability to prioritize and function efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A professional demeanor and the ability to interact comfortably with individuals at all levels of business are both essential qualities. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
