Job Description - Will assist test engineers in the preparation of test documentation and test execution in the Air and Missile Defense Line of Business. Will be performing duties in and around an explosive ordnance processing and testing area.
- Will have the opportunity to track missile components as installed during preparation for flight testing (part number, serial number, nomenclature including subassembly''s and ordnance)
- Will review standard operating procedures (SOPs) for upcoming tests to determine if hardware and limited shelf-life items are on hand prior to required need date.
- Will maintain the working field flowchart library, posting redlines on a common network drive, plotting working copies for posting at the missile assembly building, etc. This will provide experience in test missile processes and procedures prior to flight testing.
- Will assist in test conduct and data collection activities during missile and CLS preflight test operations.
- May assist in trouble shooting and analysis of mechanical and/or electronic failures in flight hardware and ground test equipment as required.
