The Roadway Data Collection Team, which is part of the Pavement Engineering & Asset Management Group with Tetra Tech Canada Inc., is looking for the right person to join our team as Safety Vehicle Operators to support Falling Weight Deflectometer operations based out of our Edmonton office.
The position will be compensated at a rate of $20.50/hour with overtime eligibility after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate will spend most their time working away from Edmonton.
The work requires a shift cycle of 21 days on with 7 days off.

o Co-ordinate traffic safety in mobile operations using a Tow Vehicle and Crash Attenuator Trailer
o Provide traffic safety in static operations as directed
o Ensure crew members and public are adequately protected in or around your work zone
o Communicate effectively with the Crew Chief using established procedures
o Review the work and consult with Coordinator to understand work being conducted, and any potential hazards
o Set up/dismantle signs and information board located as required
o Prepare daily timesheets, maintenance sheets, and other reports as required
o Promote, execute, and adhere to the company's safety program, encouraging all employees and subcontractors to adopt safety as a culture
o Drive and take care of assigned company vehicle
o Perform other duties as assigned
