Technology Strategy Manager - PureFibre - Network Deployment

The specific area of transformation you will be facilitating is working closely with our build partner(s) to maximize the build efficiency, increase schedule predictability and identify unit cost efficiencies while driving sustainable & strong engagement with our partners.

As a Technology Strategy Manager, you will be leading end to end PureFibre - Network Deployment program, with focus on build efficiency and environmental policy management, initiatives prioritization, and projects implementation.
You will collaborate with both a core program team and cross-functional teams to support the following key activities:
* In this role, you will be responsible for many projects, including leading and managing TELUS' build partners involved in the build of all TELUS outside plant infrastructure
* As part of that implementation, you will lead and manage the implementation of our Outside Plant infrastructure across various communities in AB and BC
* You will do this by maintaining quality and safety standards compliancy to ensure workload is retired as planned to meet strategic objectives, by working closely with internal and external teams to develop consistent operating processes within the construction discipline
* The intent being to create and drive a long term roadmap for the team and TELUS' build partners, and align multiple work streams involved in the build of all TELUS access infrastructure
* A major component to this role will be to enforce environmental policies and procedures while pursuing more efficient processes
* This will also involve people and change management; you will be involved in creating key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team and TELUS' build partners, initiating process improvements where required
* Success will be measured with the accomplishment of managing all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close) while ensuring tight control of project which includes dealing with conflicting priorities, issues, risks, dependencies and change
* Lead build partner teams responsible for the designated region, project or product line as required
* Ensure capital and operations fiscal management is maintained within the Capital Build Program for the region
* Review build partner quotes and submit recommendations based on cost, performance and resourcing
* Manage components such as schedule, material, revisions, approvals, compliancy's, cost and reporting
* Develop client-partner relationships to ensure a common understanding of TELUS expectations across all groups
