Recruiting Consultant
**Description** - The Recruiter acts as the primary interface for the client with the talent market, and is the liaison between candidates and hiring managers. Partnering with his/her clients, the Recruiter gains a thorough understanding of the business forecast and staffing plans as well as the complexities and dynamics of the client's business. The Recruiter effectively qualifies prospective candidates for both existing and opportunistic positions while simultaneously educating clients regarding market conditions and trends. The Recruiter provides guidance to hiring managers to aid in the selection of the strongest candidate, negotiates offers and start dates, and ensures a smooth onboarding process for the new hires. The Recruiter coordinates efforts across the Operations, Sourcing and Recruitment Delivery teams to ensure "one face to the client". The Recruiter provides strategic support to the business by consulting on process, diversity, compliance, timeline and expectation setting. S/he may be responsible for fulfilling a full range of roles, from high volume, low complexity to low volume, high complexity and/or higher level roles. S/he may also be responsible for assisting and potentially overseeing the activities of one or more Recruiting colleagues. Participate on projects or lead project teams as required.
**Responsibilities**:
Client and Candidate Management:
* Build strong relationships with candidates (both internal and external), ensure optimal candidate experience, and positively represent client opportunities and employment brand. Provide regular updates to Hiring Managers regarding candidate status.
* Adhere to client's Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Standard of Work (SOW), and Service Level Agreement (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with legal requirements and labor laws.
* Pre-plan for assigned roles to include market research, history of previous roles in preparation for initial hiring manager meeting. Conduct intake/planning session with hiring manager and primary Sourcing team, if required, to gain an understanding of the position requirements, set hiring manager expectations and gather input regarding sourcing approach.
* If sourcing assistance is needed/required, collaborate with Sourcing team member to verify strategy for direct sourcing, internet, referral, campus, and agency channels.
* Ensure high quality candidates are sourced and submitted in a timely manner; keep hiring manager informed of sourcing and recruitment progress through weekly touch point meetings.
Assess and Interview Candidates:
* Conduct screening interviews, in person and/or via telephone.
* If working with a Sourcing Partner, provide timely feedback regarding candidate quality and next steps.
* Lead and manage the candidate experience from interview through offer.
* If candidates are not selected, debrief with hiring manager and assessors to gather constructive feedback to ensure legally defensible.
* Manage offer process. Work with hiring manager to discuss compensation package, level and start date to be presented to candidate. Obtain all necessary documentation and approvals prior to presenting offer to candidates. * Remain in regular and close communication with candidate to answer any questions or address any concerns that arise. Relay feedback to hiring manager to keep him/her abreast of status and progress.
* Troubleshoot and problem-solve concerns and issues.
* Ensure adherence to compliance and audit requirements as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) from the client.
Source and Attract Candidates:
* Post open positions on internal & external client sites. Request external job board postings as needed.
* Execute sourcing via existing and emerging channels using traditional and advanced communication tools (e.g. social media, telephone networking, user groups, and other in-person networking activities) to identify and obtain information about potential candidates.
* Qualify all candidates (including direct applications and internal candidates) to determine if candidate should be considered by Recruiter for position.
* Establish and maintain a network of top talent for key roles.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* Minimum of 2-5 years proven experience supporting high volume and full cycle, recruitment preferred.
* Proven leadership abilities to include positive attitude, strong work ethic, outstanding communications skills, and problem solving capabilities.
* Demonstrated ability to understand and proactively determine customer recruitment/staffing needs.
* Knowledge and experience with HR/ATS Systems.
* Detailed Oriented.
* Excellent customer service delivery.
* Strong presentation skills (verbal and in person).
* Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
* Must be a self-starter who can work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge, sensitive deadlines and competing priorities.
* Must exhibit strong organizational and follow through skills including an extreme sense of urgency.
* High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to the client.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
* Must possess excellent judgment to prioritize work, handle multiple projects at once, and meet objectives.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
