Job Description

Based in either Stamford/Trumbull CT or Egham, UK, the Service Analyst role will increase client inquiry responsiveness and satisfaction by providing relevant content and reducing the time to respond to client questions. Successful Service Analysts will be expected to:
*
Conduct client inquiry for high-demand, high-volume topics that are well defined and for which Gartner Research positions are clear (see below for specific topics)
*
Remain current on developments and issues within specified coverage areas
*
Create packaged content sets that answer basic client inquiries and satisfy requests for published research
*
Write written response to basic inquiries and first drafts to inquiry topics. Work with other Service Analysts to establish a written response library
*
Serve as the primary point of triage for Research Content Specialist teams on complex requests and coverage questions
*
Keep Research Content Specialist teams well-briefed on coverage and content across broad topic areas

Job Requirements

*
Bachelor''s Degree in related field required; Master's preferred
*
At least 5 - 8 years of experience in a technology-related field
*
Working knowledge of technologies and markets relating to one of the following areas of customer relationship management: Sales (including SFA, incentive compensation, lead management), customer service/contact centers, e-commerce, or marketing (including campaign management, analytic systems, or IMM). Expertise in more than one area a plus
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*
Exceptional client interaction skills
*
Strong project management and interpersonal skills
*
Proven ability to collaborate in a global and matrixed environment
*
Work out of Gartner office
