Hospice Chaplain:
Will be responsible for assessing the spiritual needs of patient/families enrolled in hospice and developing relationships with local spiritual providers. Will develop and implement a care plan to ensure spiritual support. Requires good organizational skills, knowledge of computers and ability to work well as part of a team.
Master's Degree from an accredited Theological School/Seminary required. Appropriate endorsement within his/her denomination (i.e. ordination) required. Completion of 4 Clinical Pastoral Education units approved through ACPE required. APC board certification required within 2 years of hire.Two years of ministerial experience required. Valid driver's license required. Includes some call rotation and ability to work 20-25 hours per week.
Must live within a 40 minute radious of Pinehurst, NC. Call required. Call requires immediate phone response and/or home visit within one hour of call received.
