Description
Anthelio Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced HDM Analyst. In this role you will serve as a liaison among internal groups and between the organization and vendors to analyze information system requirements to develop and implement computer applications. Essential Functions:
·         Works closely with customers to gather information about application needs, objectives, functions, features, input, and output requirements
·         Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs
·         Develops and maintains plans outlining steps and time tables for implementing applications
·         Researches and evaluates software and hardware for applications platforms
·         Tests applications to find errors and confirm applications meet specifications.
·         Writes and maintains documentation to describe application logic, testing, changes, corrections, and operating procedures
·         Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from users regarding errors, problems or questions about applications. Works with applications, vendors, other I.S. staff, and customers to resolve problems with existing software
·         Installs applications and monitors performance after implementation
·         May be required to be on-call or work off-shifts
Requirements
·       Bachelor s Degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration or equivalent work experience
·       Three plus years experience in supporting healthcare systems preferred
·       Experience with HDM System Editor, RDL stored functions, Record and Event Processing Reports, and HL7 interface processes
·       RHIA or RHIT credentialing preferred
·       Possess appropriate systems application experience
·       Proficient in the use of MS Office
·       Strong project management and communication skills required
·       Experience with business process re-engineering and work flow analysis required
·       Ability to think critically, assess input and develop possible solutions to identified or potential problems
·       Verbal and written communication skills for a diverse customer base including, executives, technical and administrative staff
·       Excellent analytical skills to discuss problems, analyze solutions/options, evaluate and enable improvement of processes
·       Superior organization and planning skills

Department Description:
The level III NICU provides total nursing care for high-risk infants in need of specialized care. Scheduled shifts are eight or 12 hours. Physician coverage inculdes a 24-hour a day in-hospital neonatologist/pediatrician. There is also a unit-based CNS, as well as a neonatal nurse practitioner. Unit orientation is provided for approximately 4-12 weeks, depending upon the level of experience.

Under general supervision and utilizing the Nursing process, plans and renders professional nursing services to meet the needs of customers/patients on a nursing unit or specialty area.
Required:
Current Michigan RN licensure.
1 year Perinatal, critical care or recent NICU experience

Unit Description:
The New Life Center's Labor and Delivery Unit is comprised of labor, delivery, recovery, and OB triage areas. Staffing for the delivery unit consists of staff nurses and OB technicians. Under the direction of the nurse manager, staff nurses access, plan implement, evaluate and document patient care. Our patient population varies from those with an uncomplicated pregnancy to those of very high risk. The staffing pattern on a 12-hour shift basis supports our concept of family-centered care. Elective procedures such as cesarean sections and inductions are scheduled for the day shift. Staff nurses in the delivery room receive up to 12 weeks of orientation. The program is designed to provide nurses the necessary experience to work with the patient and her family throughout the process of labor, delivery and recovery. The orientation is further designed to include experience with techniques of circulating and scrubbing for cesarean sections.

Conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior). Control access and egress. Monitor CCTV and alarm systems. Compose reports. Deter criminal activity and misconduct. Perform other duties as specified in post orders.
Requirements
