Must be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED). Must successfully complete general hospital, nursing assistant, unit clerk, and unit-specific orientations as provided and required. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Prior computer skills preferred. Must have either a current CNA certification; previous experience as a nursing assistant within Parkview Health; successful completion of Parkview''s Nursing Assistant Training after hire; or currently enrolled in a nursing program. For positions in Continuing Care, CNA certification is required. Current CPR certification. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
