Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs various radiographic procedures using radiographic equipment to make clinical diagnostic images for use in diagnosis of disease by radiologist or other physician. Assists radiologist or other physician during invasive procedures performed under fluoroscopy and according to established practice and procedure. Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required include: 1.Knowledge of diagnostic imaging at a level normally acquired through completion of an accredited program in Radiology Technology. 2.ARRT (R) certification or registry eligibility or equivalent experience accepted by state and federal agencies. 3.Ability to work effectively with others. 4.Ability to organize work and time to accommodate workload, meetings, and/or emergencies. 5.Ability to provide care for patients in the following age groups: Infant - Birth to 1 year; Child - 2 to 12 years; Adolescent - 13 to 18 years; Adult - 19 to 65 years; Geriatric -over 65 years. 6.Ability to lift and maneuver equipment; ability to position and transfer patients using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
