Job Summary:
The Community Support Associate (CSA) position exists to teach, coach, model and accompany persons with disabilities so that they are involved in family, neighborhood, civic, cultural and religious activities and events, meet new people, develop friendships, exercise choices and acquire competencies to maintain these activities and accomplish personal goals. This includes, but is not limited to: direct care of individuals in the home; meeting the daily living needs of the individuals in the areas of personal care in hygiene, dressing and clothing maintenance and housekeeping tasks related to an individuals personal need requirements, administering medications and providing transportation.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/Equivalent. Must possess a valid driver's license, be able to drive, have access to a privately maintained vehicle and operate an agency vehicle when required. Ability to pass child abuse, State Police and FBI clearances.
