Job Description Intern will work closely with Audio Distribution team to partner and learn how the business distributes and monetizes ESPN Audio''s vast range of audio content on various platforms, which include terrestrial radio, satellite radio and digital radio. The Intern provides for a unique opportunity to contribute at the ground-level while learning about the media/entertainment industry.
The Intern role thrives in a fast-paced and energetic team environment, which requires individuals to establish partnerships with each member of the team and become a strong contributor to the achievement of departmental goals. The Intern will support the team in their efforts to advance distribution priorities.
Additionally, the Intern will have the opportunity to work closely with other departments (i.e. Digital Production, Marketing & Remote Events) within the Audio division to gain exposure to workflow & partnership across Audio.

You must be currently matriculating within a degree program and in good academic standing; available for employment within 12 months of the internship. Graduation date of August 2013, Fall 2013 or Spring 2014.

10 weeks; 40 hours/week
Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
Subsidized housing is available on a first come first serve basis for interns who live greater than 50 miles of work location
Authorized to work in the United States for any company
Intern must be able to provide his/her own transportation to and from work.
Responsibilities . Supports the team of Regional Managers and Directors on a day-to-day basis.
. Work closely with the Coordinator to assists with the implementation of new and ongoing sales and marketing initiatives for affiliates.
. Learn and assist in managing tickets and affiliate merchandising.
. Assists with the creation and aggregation of presentations and reports / updates in support of distribution and partner initiatives.
. Learn to aggregate and synthesize industry trends and research.
. Exposure to affiliate databases, including reports with key partner statistics, and goal pacing.
. Plays the role of main liaison between the Audio Distribution team and the Affiliate Business Operations team.
. Work with Affiliate Marketing to support PR initiatives and ensure accurate information

. Excellent inter-personal, written, verbal, organization and computer skills, including Excel, Pwr. Pt., and Word.
