The
Patient Relations Coordinator
administers, manages, and coordinates the resolution of patient
relations issues to include acting as liaison between
patients/families and thephysicians/staff.
Provides a direct channel through which patients can seek resolution
to problems, concerns and unmet needs. Coordinates the formal patient
grievance process. Performs duties for all clinical entities within
the designated facility including acute care and ambulatory settings.
Activities are integrated and supported by an infrastructure that
delineates functional responsibilities at specific accountability
levels. Provides education and consultation on risk prevention and
patient relations issues.Serves as a member of
the Hawai i Pacific Health Risk Management Team.

Requirements
Minimum
Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in Health Care or related field or an
equivalentcombination of comparable education and/or
related work experience.Two years of progressive
clinical or operations experience with some demonstrated program
development andtraining skills.Prior
hands-on experience communicating with patients and resolvingpatient
related issues or concerns.
