The Financial Support Professional is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of invoices to all agencies, counties, school districts, insurance companies, and private organizations or individuals for services provided to clients of the Devereux Texas Treatment Network.Responsible for answering inquiries on all accounts along with follow-up on all unpaid accounts.
Displays a working knowledge of all aspects of the electronic accounts receivable system and outside electronic billing and remittance software.Accurately reconciles client accounts assuring accounts are earned and posted properly.Maintains minimum credit balances through research and maintenance of accounts and follows proper refund guidelines set at center level and Corporate.Assures accurate and timely billing and/or posting of cash received, including all research necessary to accomplish this task.Consistently monitors outstanding accounts receivable balances and documents collection efforts on an ongoing, systematic basis.Minimize bad debt by displaying perseverance until outstanding account amounts are collected and follow proper write-off guidelines once bad debt has been identified.Accurately gathers information, prepares and distributes reports.Enter both managed care and agency contracts into the electronic accounts receivable system in a timely manner and has a working knowledge of the census process as appropriate to role.Effectively completes telephone collection inquiries on all accounts.

Minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D; Associates Degree preferred
Minimum of at least (2) years related experience, preferably in a health care setting
Must have a valid Texas Driver''s License
