Job Description:
Evening Patient Access Supervisor at Putnam Hospital Center
Responsible for providing leadership and daily support to maintain ongoing quality, productivity and efficiency levels in Patient Access Services with continued focus on developing and strengthening specific functional areas of the revenue cycle. Oversee efforts of staff performing registration, scheduling, admitting, financial counseling and insurance verification. This position works in a cooperative team environment to provide value to customers (internal and external)
Requirements:
1 yr college or specialized post-high school training.
Requires a minimum of three (3) years experience to acquire knowledge and related skills from hospital facility. Medical terminology required. Basic PC skills required- windows proficient, MS Word & MS Excel Required. Typing 40 wpm. Working knowledge of basic office equipment preferred '' credit card transaction processing, photocopiers, computer printers, In order to maintain current knowledge in all applications, requires ability to maintain skill set in all registration applications/function/responsibilities, self adjustment of schedule is necessary to meet the demands of on-call coverage knowledge.
